Wonders indeed shall never end. Places in this world exhists that you've never heard of.

Some of these places are interesting while some are indeed weired. You can read on to find out what and where they are.

1. Shanay-Timpishka, boiling river

2. Movile, sulfur cave

This dark sulphur cave is located in the south east of Romania. The cave lacks clean air as the air inside contains hydrogen sulphite. Therefore it is believed to be impossible for life to exist in that cave. However, some Researchers surprisingly found 33 species that were able to adopt and survive in the cave. Indeed a wonder.

3. Mother Shipton Cave

This cave is a popular tourist attraction in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, anything touched by the droplets of water from this cliff would become hardened like a stone after five months. Scientists believe that the reason behind the phenomenon is as a result of high mineral levels found in the location. However, the locals believe the place to be cursed by a witch.

4. Lake Karachay

This is a no place for any human in his right sense as standing anywhere this lake for up-to an hour is more like a death sentence. This is because this place was used by the Soviet Union to dump radio active waste years back. In 1957, a huge explosion from the nearby factory caused radioactive particles to spread up to 23,330 square kilometers around the site. The place is regarded by some researchers as the most poluted place in the universe.

5. Gruner See, underwater park in Spring

This particular place is a park in Austria. It is completely a dry path in the autumn. However, when spring approaches, water levels rises and cover this particular area turning it into a lake.

6. Casorzo Tree, double tree

As you can see, a cheery tree is growing on another tree like a parasite. This is located at a site in Piemonte, Italy. There are only a few explanations as to how this came about but the locals belive that birds dropping cherry seeds on the initial tree is the cause of the phenomenon

7. Catatumbo River, perennial lightning storm

If you are scared of storm like I am, then this area is no place for us. Located in west Venezuela, above the Cantatumbo river, this place experience a storm daily for up-to 10 hours a day starting by 7pm.

8. Blue Pond in Hokkaido, the chameleon lake

This is indeed a wonder. A beautiful pond in Hokkaido Japan where the water looks cerulean from one direction. And in another direction, the water turns to green. Studies conducted shows that the colors come from a mix of water and aluminium hydroxide particles which are believed to reflect the of the pond's surrounding trees and the blue of the sky.

9. Ringing Rocks

Till today, how this stones got to fill this hill top remains a mystery. This rare phenomenon is located in Pennsylvania.

10 Kawah Ijen, the blue lava

This is a Popular Tourist attraction site in Indonesia where the sulphur mine emit blue light that seem to flow like a lava in early hours of the morning. The blue light is believed by scientists to be sulphur gas produced from a previous eruption of mount Ijen.
